One of the educational aims of the Israel Museum is to enable younger members of society, particularly those who have arrived relatively recently in Israel from the former Soviet Union, to connect with their Jewish heritage in a meaningful way through a series of tailored workshops. This project, sponsored by BFAMI, is held during the most prominent festivals in the Jewish calendar. They combine artistic workshops, family activities and events at the Youth Wing of the museum in concert with the exhibitions on display – each one relating to the festival during which they are held.
