On 3rd June 2019 The Israel Museum, Jerusalem honoured Mr Poju Zabludowicz and Mrs Anita Zabludowicz OBE with an Honorary Fellowship.
Anita and Poju Zabludowicz are prominent London-based philanthropists with a particular interest in supporting and promoting the arts. Avid collectors of modern and contemporary art, they have amassed a collection of more than 4,000 works by some 600 artists.
The Zabludowiczs’ dedication to the Israel Museum is manifested through their two decades of active involvement with the British Friends of the Art Museums of Israel (BFAMI). Currently an Honorary President, Anita served as Co-Chair and then Chair of BFAMI between 2003 and 2006, remaining on the organisation’s Board of Trustees until 2014. Following Anita’s example, Poju has ably served as BFAMI Co-Chair since 2014.
In appreciation of their devoted friendship and support for the Museum, and in recognition of their philanthropy and their endeavors to promote the eld of art, the Board of Directors bestowed upon Anita and Poju Zabludowicz the title of Honorary Fellows of the Israel Museum.
