David Breuer-Weil first gained critical acclaim for his series of installations of monumental paintings titled the Projects in London. His public sculptures have become iconic landmarks globally including Emergence, Flight, Alien, Visitor and Sister in London and Soul and Centre of the World in Jerusalem. This summer three of his large scale sculptures will be unveiled in Park Lane, Bond Street and Soho.
The exhibition, ‘This Time’ completed just three weeks after October 7, the exhibition includes the first public viewing of Breuer-Weil’s Morning, a vast, detailed symbolic canvas deliberately painted the same size as Picasso’s Guernica to express moral outrage. The exhibition also includes searing paintings and sculptures exploring the related themes of the distortion of truth, the division of society, the plight of the hostages, the power and influence of the press in inflaming tensions globally and heartbreak at all loss of innocent life.
