Join BFAMI’s Day Trip to Hauser & Wirth Somerset on Thursday 1st September and enjoy a private tour of the exhibition ‘Henry Moore. Sharing Form’, guided by Director, Sarah Bourghardt.
The major exhibition of works presents a comprehensive survey spanning six decades which extends across all five gallery spaces, taking its starting point from the artist’s early fascination with the Neolithic site of Stonehenge and continued exploration of the upright abstract form. Alongside Moore’s most celebrated works, the viewer is immersed in a deeply personal selection of artworks and objects from Moore’s studio and home.
This unique encounter will be followed by lunch held at the Roth Bar & Grill, after which BFAMI guests will be guided through an exhibition of Henry Moore drawings in the Stables. The day’s activities will conclude with the opportunity to peruse through the deliciously stocked Durslade Farm Shop and Hauser & Wirth book shop.
