Young BFAMI Family Art Tour x PJ Library Tu B’Shevat Reading Session

We invite you to join our young BFAMI family art tour and interactive storytelling session in celebration of Tu B’Shevat, for families with children up to 8 years old, in collaboration with PJ Library.

Families will begin the afternoon with a short arts and crafts session, followed by a family-friendly curator-led tour of BFAMI’s art auction exhibition. The event will conclude with a story of Sadie’s Snowy Tu B’Shevat by Jamie Korngold.

Through engaging storytelling, fun props and active participation, the Tu B’Shevat story will be brought to life for young children.

Sadie knows Tu B’Shevat, the birthday of the trees, is traditionally a time to plant a tree — but it’s too snowy where she lives. Her grandmother helps Sadie and her brother, Ori, discover another meaningful way to show love and care for the planet we live on.

Light snacks will be provided.
