Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing 1452-1519

Marking the 500 anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, the Queens Gallery is hosting an exhibition which showcases more than 200 drawings. These drawing were acquired consequently during the reign of Charles 2nd, forming the largest exhibition of da Vinci works in over 65 years.

Please join us for a talk by Martin Clayton, Head of Prints and Drawing for the Royal Collection Trust and a Viewing of the exhibition.

Drawing allowed Da Vinci to work out his ideas on paper, touching on his search for universal laws, underpinning the creation, and explore various interests  in painting, sculpture, architecture, anatomy, engineering, cartography, geology and botany.
