The Street Art Project is an exciting and innovative project planned for a mixed group of Jewish, Muslim and Christian adolescents living in Bat Yam and Jaffa. Its purpose is to discuss the unique practice of street art and the students will be introduced to the aesthetic, social and political aspects of it’s implementation. Aiming to encourage multicultural thinking and foster an atmosphere of tolerance through co-operative artistic collaboration, they will learn about the history of street art and meet leading contemporary street artists. Through practical experience with suitable materials each student will design their own artwork in a public space of the city – a work that should convey a message of peace, tolerance and harmonious co-habitation
