Kami Shefer

‘Prism – Window no. 17’

£100

This picture was taken in the car during the first rain after a year of drought. This time, unlike other times, they were tears of joy on the window”.

This window is one of 40 different illustrations that Kami created and gathered into a book titled Prism. The book contains a collection of stories about windows, offering insights into the small realities around us that ultimately shape the larger narrative of our lives. The project raises questions about the complexity of the world we live in, emphasizing the countless windows and stories that surround us every moment – now more than ever. It encourages us all to look through other people’s windows and strive for a reality where the mosaic of these perspectives shapes our shared experience.
